OUR FURRY FRIENDS

Our animal friends will be a much-loved part of everyday life at our centre. More than just farmyard faces, they will play an important role in helping children learn about care, kindness, and connection to the natural world.

From friendly chickens in the coop to the gentle buzz of our stingless native bees, children will have the opportunity to observe, interact with, and help care for animals in safe, respectful ways.

Animal experiences support children to develop empathy, responsibility, and an understanding of how living things depend on one another.​

​Our barn and outdoor spaces are being thoughtfully designed to allow children to engage in hands-on learning—feeding animals, collecting eggs, watching bees at work, and asking lots of curious questions along the way. Educators will guide these moments with intention, ensuring children feel confident, calm, and connected.

​Through these everyday interactions, animals will become teachers too—helping children slow down, notice the world around them, and build a lifelong respect for nature and living things.​

​At Blossom & Sprout Childcare, friendships will grow with feathers, fur, and a whole lot of heart.
