A childcare centre where muddy boots will be a badge of honour, veggie patches will become classrooms, and curious minds will grow alongside nature.

Our centre is being carefully designed as a living, breathing environment—complete with a farm setting, hands-on sustainable practices, and nature-based play experiences that will invite children to explore, imagine, and connect with the world around them.

Children will have access to a purpose-built indoor playground for active, imaginative play no matter the weather, as well as age-appropriate outdoor play spaces tailored to encourage climbing, digging, balancing, and exploring safely at every stage of development. Our farm-inspired features will include a welcoming barn, friendly chickens, and a thriving habitat for stingless native bees, offering real-life opportunities for children to learn about animals, nature, and sustainability. A covered outdoor learning area will allow children to enjoy the outdoors all year round, rain or shine.

From feeding animals and tending gardens to building cubbies, collecting leaves, and splashing in puddles, children will learn through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and joy. Sustainability won’t just be a concept—they will live it daily through composting, recycling, growing food, and caring for the land.

Here, learning will happen as much outdoors as indoors. Children will be encouraged to take healthy risks, get messy, ask questions, and develop a deep respect for nature, animals, and each other.

This will be a place where little hands dig, little feet roam, and big imaginations run free—a centre where childhood is celebrated, curiosity is nurtured, and every day feels like an adventure on the farm.

NURSERY YARD

Thoughtfully created as a calm, nurturing outdoor space for our youngest explorers. Designed with safety and comfort in mind, this gentle environment allows babies to move, explore, and discover the outdoors at their own pace.

Low-level climbing logs, soft natural ground surfaces, and shaded areas support early gross motor development, while quiet corners, nature nooks, and sheltered spaces invite moments to pause, observe, and connect with educators and the world around them.

Natural textures, planting, and sensory elements encourage early curiosity and engagement, supporting tummy time, crawling, cruising, and first steps in a peaceful setting. This space is designed to foster a strong sense of security, confidence, and wonder as children begin their outdoor learning journey.

TODDLER YARD

Lovingly designed as a safe and welcoming space where little explorers can build confidence, move freely, and let their imaginations lead the way. Gentle play features encourage climbing, balancing, pushing, and discovering at a pace that feels just right for toddlers.

A child-sized tractor, a cosy barn cubby and fort, and a whimsical fairy garden invite role-play, storytelling, and shared adventures. Water play features including a hand-operated pump and a soft misting trellis, add moments of delight while supporting sensory exploration and cooperation.

When guided by educators, toddlers will also have opportunities to access the Sustainable Learning Area and connect with the Pre-schooler Yard through a gated opening, allowing for shared experiences, mixed-age play, and gradual transitions as children grow in confidence.

PRESCHOOL YARD

Designed for bigger bodies, bolder play, and growing independence, with plenty of space to run, ride, climb, and collaborate. A looping bike track, tumble mound, and a mix of active and passive play zones encourage children to challenge themselves, build coordination, and enjoy energetic outdoor play with friends.

A timber stage invites performance, storytelling, and group play, while farm features including the barn courtyard and farmhouse cubby — create everyday opportunities for imaginative role-play and shared experiences. Children also have access to the Sustainable Learning Area, where garden beds and hands-on experiences nurture curiosity, responsibility, and a meaningful connection to how things grow.

With natural planting and gentle pathways connecting each space, children can move confidently between busy play, imaginative moments, and calm corners — feeling capable, connected, and inspired outdoors each day.
